Parte I), concluimos se\u00f1alando que: \u201cLa crisis del COVID-19 aceler\u00f3 y profundiz\u00f3 la crisis estructural y global del capitalismo, de ella surgir\u00e1, no sin lucha, un mundo nuevo, basado en relaciones sociales y geopol\u00edticas m\u00e1s justas\u2026\u201d Hoy reafirmamos esa conclusi\u00f3n, a la luz de los datos que aportan organizaciones tan insospechables de izquierda o socialistas como la OIT y la CEPAL. Esta \u00faltima instituci\u00f3n en su informe del 7 de abril de este a\u00f1o se\u00f1ala que: \u201cLa crisis lleg\u00f3 en el momento en que la confianza en la globalizaci\u00f3n y el multilateralismo como herramientas para el desarrollo acumulaba m\u00e1s de un decenio de deterioro\u201d, y m\u00e1s adelante, en el mismo informe, se\u00f1ala textualmente que: \u201cEl Coronavirus afectar\u00e1 el n\u00famero de empleos\u2026y la calidad del trabajo\u2026\u201d, indicando que: \u201cestimaciones de la OIT (2020) indican un aumento del desempleo de entre 5,3 millones de personas y 24,7 millones de personas, con una base de 188 millones de personas desocupadas en 2019. En un escenario \u201cmedio\u201d el aumento del desempleo ser\u00eda de 13 millones de personas\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sobre los efectos de la crisis del COVID-19 en Am\u00e9rica Latina y el Caribe, la CEPAL preve\u00eda, antes de la pandemia, que la regi\u00f3n crecer\u00eda 1,3% en 2020 como m\u00e1ximo; pero \u201clos efectos de la crisis ubican hoy el pron\u00f3stico en 1,8% del PIB; pero no se pueden descartar escenarios de contracciones entre 3% y 4%, o incluso m\u00e1s\u201d. De acuerdo con el mismo informe, la regi\u00f3n latinoamericana y caribe\u00f1a se ve afectada a trav\u00e9s de 5 canales externos, que pasamos a enunciar: 1) la disminuci\u00f3n de la actividad econ\u00f3mica de sus principales socios comerciales, 2) ca\u00edda de los precios de los productos primarios, 3) interrupci\u00f3n de las cadenas globales de valor, 4) menor demanda de servicios de turismo, y 5) intensificaci\u00f3n de la aversi\u00f3n al riesgo y el empeoramiento de las condiciones financieras internacionales.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La crisis del COVID-19, que acelera la crisis del capitalismo, tiene un gran impacto social (salud, empleo, educaci\u00f3n, vivienda, seguridad social, etc.) en el continente y en el mundo; ya antes de ella, ten\u00edamos verdaderas rebeliones populares en Chile, Colombia, Brasil y otros pa\u00edses de nuestro continente y varios en Europa, con Francia a la cabeza. Todo indica que con la crisis se profundizar\u00e1 la lucha, ratificando la conclusi\u00f3n con la que cerramos nuestro pasado art\u00edculo y comenzamos este: Vamos construyendo un mundo nuevo, con relaciones sociales y entre las naciones m\u00e1s justas.
