{"id":19994,"date":"2020-09-22T08:48:44","date_gmt":"2020-09-22T12:48:44","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.mpppst.gob.ve\/mpppstweb\/?p=19994"},"modified":"2020-09-22T08:48:45","modified_gmt":"2020-09-22T12:48:45","slug":"oms-estima-tener-2-000-millones-de-dosis-de-vacunas-contra-covid-19-para-fines-de-2021","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.mpppst.gob.ve\/mpppstweb\/index.php\/2020\/09\/22\/oms-estima-tener-2-000-millones-de-dosis-de-vacunas-contra-covid-19-para-fines-de-2021\/","title":{"rendered":"OMS estima tener 2.000 millones de dosis de vacunas contra COVID-19 para fines de 2021"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>La&nbsp;<strong>Organizaci\u00f3n Mundial de la Salud<\/strong>&nbsp;(OMS) anunci\u00f3 una alianza con 156 naciones que integran la iniciativa global Covax con miras a lograr&nbsp;<strong>la distribuci\u00f3n equitativa de las dosis de una vacuna efectiva contra la&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.vtv.gob.ve\/estudio-uso-mascarillas-tipo-inmunidad-covid19\/\">COVID-19<\/a>,&nbsp;<\/strong>y \u201cgarantizar que todos los pa\u00edses tengan acceso a una vacuna al mismo tiempo\u201d, adem\u00e1s de conseguir unos 2.000 millones de dosis, suficientes para inmunizar uno de cada siete seres humanos antes del final de 2021.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La informaci\u00f3n la dio a conocer el director general de la OMS,<strong>&nbsp;Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus<\/strong>, quien explic\u00f3 que m\u00e1s de 90 pa\u00edses o entidades con ingresos bajos y medios van adherirse al dispositivo, as\u00ed como 64 pa\u00edses con ingresos altos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Entre estos figuran los compromisos de la Comisi\u00f3n Europea, en nombre de los 27 pa\u00edses miembros de la UE, m\u00e1s Noruega e Islandia, rese\u00f1an medios internacionales.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cO nadamos todos juntos o nos hundiremos juntos\u201d, subray\u00f3 el experto et\u00edope durante una conferencia de prensa, en la que pidi\u00f3 mayor compromiso mundial en esta red, que en su opini\u00f3n \u201cayudar\u00e1 a controlar la pandemia, salvar vidas, acelerar la recuperaci\u00f3n econ\u00f3mica y garantizar que la carrera por la vacuna no es una competici\u00f3n\u201d, agreg\u00f3.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Nueve candidatas a vacuna se han unido tambi\u00e9n a la red Covax de desarrollo y distribuci\u00f3n, entre ellas dos que se encuentran en la \u00faltima fase de experimentaci\u00f3n, la de la estadounidense Moderna y la de AstraZeneca junto a la Universidad brit\u00e1nica de Oxford, cuyo estudio fue interrumpido durante unos d\u00edas pero ya ha sido reanudado, rese\u00f1a una nota de Telesur.
